Concept explainers
To explain: the sonar and echolocation.
Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
Sonar is a system or technology which is used for detection of object under water by emitting sound and measuring the reflections. Echolocation is the use of sound wave for locating objects in space.
Similarity between Sonar and Echolocation is that both are used to locate objects.
The difference between Sonar and Echolocation is that sonar is a mechanical instrument while echolocation is based on living beings. Echolocation is used by bats to find food in the dark.
Conclusion:
Thus, the comparison and similarity of sonar and echolocation are explained.
