I agree that a manager should be able to hire someone that they feel would be the best fit for what they are looking for. Re-prioritizing my leisure activities to ensure there is plenty of time dedicated to personal interests and fulfillment.
Make changes to the work environment, such as flexible schedules or telecommuting, make better accommodate a desired balance.
