Intensive property:
An intensive property is a bulk property in which a physical property of system does not depends on the system size or the amount of material in the system.
Example:
Density is an example of intensive property.
Extensive properties:
Extensive properties are not dependant only on the amount of material in a system.
For example: the amount of heat required melting ice at constant temperature and pressure is an extensive property. The amount of heat required to melt one ice cube would be much less than the amount of heat required to melt an iceberg ,so its depends on the quantity.
Examples:
Mass and volume, amount of substance Energy Entropy enthalpy are extensive properties.
