When does the US immigration policy shift and why? 200-300 words
I'm not sure when the US immigration policy shifts in this article because it doesn't mention it, so could you perhaps help me and then answer the question?
Immigrants formed America and were an integral part of American society. All Americans are immigrants or descendants of immigrants except the native Americans. The attitude towards immigrants has evolved over the years in the US. The US followed an open and liberal policy towards immigrants during the 18th and 19th centuries.
