Islam as a religion rose in the 7th century CE with the birth of Prophet Mohammad and his attaining of Prophethood by the age of forty. During his lifetime, and more so after his death, the religion came to form secure literature, rules and laws as well as economic policies to try and bring together the warring elements of the Arabian peninsula. As the Muslim armies expanded to various regions, they were able to successfully take control and introduce Islam into these new places.
