Shi Huangdi ruled from 7th May 247-221 BC. He was the first Emperor of Qin and the founder of the Qin Dynasty. He was seen as the first emperor of China. He proposed the term 'Emperor' to be used by Chinese rulers and it was used by them for the next 2 millennia. He was 38 when he became the First Emperor of China and in 221 BC, he took over all Warring States and unified all parts of China.
