World War I (WWI) was known as the Great War. It began on 28th July 1914 and ended on 11 November 1918. It was initiated in Europe and later on, many countries became part of it. It involved 60 million people of Europe, 70 million military people. It was one of the largest wars in history. It also resulted in the deaths of millions due to genocides. The Allied powers proved to be victorious in the war and the league of nations was created after that.
