It was the period in which the wages of American laborers, and skilled workers increased significantly. During the Gilded Age, the U.S. witnessed the migration of millions from Europe. The rapid growth was the result of expanding industrialization. The Gilded Age is marked by extravagant consumerism & extremist political misconduct.
