GPCR is G protein coupled receptors is largest group of membrane receptors . These are integral protein which converts extracellular information to the intracellular one. G protein coupled receptor can deliver a signal using hetero trimeric G proteins. This pathway requires extracellular molecules to binds up & ligands binds to the receptors which is present on cell surface that causes stimulation of the events inside cell, for a response. This response generated can change the cell shape, gene expression, metabolism etc. Steps of Transduction path are:- First step:- Ligand binding to the GPCR Second step:- ATP is converted to cyclic AMP.
