Question

Hyundai, in the production of its new vehicles, desires to test the ability of steel-alloy panels to
resist corrosion when paint is applied. Three types of steel alloy were used (Chromium, Nickel and
Manganese). Each steel type was tested based on three types of paint (Steel-IT, Rust Grip amd
Toa). The following data represent the ability of the painted panels to resist corrosion.

1. Propose null hypotheses to test whether types of steel alloy or types of paint have an effect
on the ability to resist corrosion.
2. Using JASP, conduct the relevant test to analyze the hypothesis provided. Are there any
significant main effects or an interaction effect? Clearly outline all steps.
3. Are the relevant assumptions satisfied? State your hypotheses and results
4. The JASP output of all the statistical analyses performed as well as the file that was
produced should be provided.

PLEASE PROVIDE ALL CALCULATIONS USING JASP SOFTWARE
