So, how, when, and why does slavery begin and grow in America?
During the Middle Ages the Europeans had colonized all over the world. They were in search of new land for the sake of rebuilding their economy. This was because financially Europe was affected with feudalism which had created a vacuum in their economy. Therefore, they had extracted the wealth from other parts of the world and took it back home from other parts of the world. However, there were other reasons like - spreading of religion and becoming the most powerful nation in Europe - for the process of colonization.
