(We are assuming the op amp is operating in the linear region so that the voltages at the two inputs are equal), but instead of writing the current through the load resistor as V1/RL, just write it as iout.
- Substitute your expression for V1 from part a into your equation from part b and solve for iout. Show that the result is iout = Vin/R1. Note that iout is independent of the value of the load resistor RL. Thus, it acts as a current source. In fact, it will still work as a current source if you use a capacitor or inductor in place of RL.
