The earliest civilizations within the human past are those of ancient Egypt & Mesopotamia. While Mesopotamian civilization started between the Euphrates and Tigris rivers, the civilization of Ancient Egyptian started near the Nile River. Mesopotamia's geography had a significant influence on how it developed. As they were capable of adapting to the Nile River, the Ancient Egyptians became extremely prosperous.
