During the formation, Earth was a hot molten ball like material and looking like the hail. It does not have atmosphere does not have any gasses we used to live. Later they created slowly so at 4.56 billion we has not been found rock at that age. 

Describe the difference between physical geology and historical geology?

Physical geology is the branch of geology which generally deals with the study of the physical aspect of the Earth. The physical aspect like the earthquake, tectonism, volcanism, the work of river, glacier, wind etc. 

But historical geology is the branch of geology which deals with the study of the evolution of the Earth with time, the geological history of the Earth. It includes the study of time scale in Billion years and the changes in the Earth occured.
