dyslipidemias with their respective leading compound.
What would be your step-by-step strategy to achieve it?
Dyslipidemia is a condition of body in which imbalance of lipids occurs (Lipids like cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein (LDL), triglycerides (TG), and high-density lipoprotein (HDL). Dyslipidemia can occur due to the poor diet or tobacco exposure or can be genetic and it is the major cause of cardiovascular diseases.
Dyslipidemia can be of two major types- primary and secondary dyslipidemia based on its causes. Single or multiple gene mutations causes primary dyslipidemia and it leads to either overproduction or defective clearance of TG and LDL, or can also cause underproduction or excessive clearance of HDL. Secondary dyslipidemia is caused by unhealthy lifestyle.
HDL is good cholesterol and LDL and VLDL (very low density lipoprotein) are bad cholesterol. LDL and VLDL causes deposition inside the blood vessels, eventually causes blockage and its related side effects. While, HDL mobilizes this deposition and transports these bad cholesterol back to liver.
