Question

How can I provide a x and y data/graph for the following???

What is your independent variable?
the independent variable is temperature because we can't control the temperature
What is your dependent variable?
the dependant variable is the volume because the volume of the balloon is dependant on the
temperature of its surroundings
How many trials will you conduct?
i will conduct three trials, where i leave it in the freezer (i can control the temperature of my
refrigerator) and go from -5 to -10 to -15
How long will you need to let the balloon sit in the freezer before measuring the balloon?
45 minutes each temperature

Findings:
Initial Circumference: 54cm
Initial Temperature: (74° F / 23°C)
-5°C - 53cm
-10°C - 52cm
-15°C - 50.5cm

Expert Solution
Prerequisites

As here, we have two variables; one is dependent (volume) and another one is independent(temperature). For two different types of variables(i.e. dependent and independent), we require two axes (say x-axis and y-axis). The independent variable is represented in the x-axis(horizontal line) and the dependent variable is represented in the y-axis (vertical line) of the graph.

So the values of the variable "temperature" will be represented in the x-axis and the values of the variable "volume" will be represented in the y-axis.
