The data below represent the results of a study of total scratch-off lottery ticket winnings in 2021 for thirteen people in Colonial Heights. The researchers hope to determine useful variables for predicting total scratch-off lottery ticket winnings. The variables investigated are: X₁-age of the person in years at end of 2021, X2-number of different locations visited to purchase lottery tickets in 2021, X3- amount won in dollars in December 2020, X4-number of tickets purchased in 2021, and Y-total 2021 winnings in dollars.
