Both three-phase transformers are rated 100 MVA, 13.8/138 kV with leakage reactance of 0.10 pu. The series reactance of the line is 20 ohms. The synchronous generator is operating at rated MVA, 0.95 pf lagging and at 5% above rated voltage when a bolted three-phase fault occurs at the generator terminals. Calculate the pu values of (a) subtransient fault current and (b) subtransient generator and motor currents during this fault.
