Expert Solution
Step 1

Introduction:-

  • Trophic level, step in a nutritive series, or food chain, of an ecosystem.
  • The organisms of a Chain is classified into these levels on the basis of their feeding behaviour.
Step 2

Producers:-

  • They make their own food by using light or chemical energy. They also called as autotrophs.
  • Ex:- plants, algae and some bacteria.

Primary consumers:-

  • They also called as herbivores. These organisms gain energy by eating primary producers and are called primary consumers.
  • Ex:- grazers:- whose diets consist atleast 90% grass.(Cows, sheeps and rabbits)
