Classification of consumer goods:-
1. Convenience goods:- It refers to those goods that have low price and consumer does not require more efforts to purchase. It means its price is low and its require less efforts from the consumers.
Example of these good:- Colgate toothpaste.
Channel strategy:- The company mostly used indirect channel strategy. In this approach, Colgate company by using one or more middlemen sale their product to the final consumer.
Highly intensive channel :- It means company use various sales outlet and also use various distribution channel to distribute its product to final consumer and thus helps increase the sales and revenue.
Example:- We can easily found this toothpaste in the supermarket, local shops, malls, online etc.
