It took Nikiwe three years to find traction in the market for her Honey-Infused Ice Cream, owned
Nikiwe's Foods. At this stage, she is busy with the management team, strategizing how to roll
out this product across the national landscape; they are currently operating from Johannesburg,
delivering to the major cities in the country, and their intention is to have a national footprint in
retail stores. Their strategy shows that they will need to reinforce all aspects of their supply chain,
especially production, storage, distribution and merchandising and reverse logistics.
