Chart 3.3 Fluency Application Deck Report Timeline Data Analysis Figure 1.1 displays data collected from 12/6/23 - 12/10/23 while studying SAFMEDS acquisition deck 2 for ABA 628. Acquisition accel has a slightly increasing trend, with an outlier of 21, and moderate variability. Most of my timings were done around the same time which might be the reason why my scores are similar throughout the week. Acquisition decel is present with a trend of 0, an outlier of 1, and low variability. The AIM for the deck is set at 14 accel by the end of the deck. The last data point of the week (December 10th) is 20 accel, meaning the AIM has been met. Based on the data, the AIM is expected to be met by the end of the deck. Figure 3.1 displays Fluency Deck 3 timing data collected from 12/6/23 - 12/10/23. As shown above, fluency accel has low variability and at a low level, indicating that I met my aim. Fluency decel is present with a trend of 0, and an outlier of 1. Study Approach and Adjustments Antecedent: My current study plan consists of determining my reinforcer schedule for the week. Current reinforcement procedures include studying the acquisition decks five days a week for 20-30 minutes and running five 30-second timings each day except when collecting

baseline. I study fluency decks for 10-15 minutes and run five 30-second timings each day for five days. After studying and running timings for acquisition and fluency, I reinforced myself by watching a preferred show on HBO max. If the AIM was met by the end of the week I would reinforce myself by ordering take-out and avoiding the kitchen. Other antecedent procedures include studying the deck for that week by using study mode first and then running my 5 timings. Practice timings on study mode allow me to set up the environment for the real timings as it helps reduce the pressure and anxiety for the real timings. Behavior: On day 1 of a run day, I run one 30-second timing and enter that data point in Central Reach Institute. On days 2 through 5, I run five 30-second timings and enter the best data point into Central Reach Institute. For my fluency deck, I run five 30-second timings across 5 days. Data is analyzed for fluency following a timing. Following my last timing, I checked for the best score of the day and graphed it in Central Reach Institute. For fluency deck 2, I studied from December 6th - December 10th for 10-15 minutes. Data for fluency was graphed and was analyzed for progress on Central Reach’s fluency application deck report. Consequences: After collecting my last data point of the week for acquisition deck 2 and fluency deck 2, I analyzed the data collected for any trend or variability. As mentioned prior, acquisition accel is present with moderate variability, an outlier of 21, and a slightly increasing trend. Acquisition decel is present with a zero trend, an outlier of 1, and low variability. Fluency accel is present with low variability. Fluency decel is at a zero trend, an outlier of 1, and has low variability. The AIM is set at 14 accel for both acquisition and fluency decks. Reinforcement for the end of the week was given because the AIM of 14 was met for acquisition deck 2. Adjustments: I implemented an intervention of doing my timings earlier in the day so I have more energy and am more focused. By doing so, I was able to achieve a much better score
on my acquisition and fluency timings for that day! For practice, I added more time to my study time in order to retain more and memorize my acquisition cards. I also watched youtube videos and looked up examples of the terminology being studied/quizzed on to help me better understand the concepts. Lastly, I made sure to get all 5 acquisition and 5 fluency timings done, 5 days a week consecutively. I implemented this strategy rather than taking a day off and getting back to my timings later, otherwise; I would’ve forgotten. I also graphed my data everyday instead of waiting until it was due to save time, stress, and energy. I hope to continue implementing these strategies and habits for the weeks to come.
