(5 points) A logical reason that this month may have been an outlier is that there were less people in the home at the time or, bottle water was being bought more, or less showers were being taken. 4. Graphs and charts can help others interpret and understand data. However, data are sometimes displayed in ways that can manipulate the meaning or emotions behind the data. Describe one possible way that this could happen. (10 points) On a line graph you can manipulate the y axis however you want. For example if you’re trying to make it seem that something has changed only a little bit over time you can scale up the y axis to make it seem that way.
