Jean Marie Kagabo PHL218 MODULE 1 The difference between professional ethics and global ethics is: Professional ethics are a code of conduct established by a government body, government agency, or professional that monitors and polices the practice of people specific fields while a structure of global ethics attempt to create a specific code of conducting nations-states to adhere to when engaging with other globally. The global frameworks are needed to protect the most vulnerable people during international conflict and nation-states internal pollical trouble, and other matter that can involve nations. Is also important to protect weak countries from powerful counties aggression. Benefits of using an ethical framework in the global management of climate change is to tackle climate change and its negative impacts. To set long term goals to guide all nations substantially reduce global greenhouse gas emission limit global temperature increase in this century to 2 degrees Celsius even to 1.5 degrees. The commitment from all countries to reduce emission and work together to adopt to the impact of climate change and calls on countries to strengthen their commitment over the time. The Paris agreement has provided a durable framework guiding the global effort for decades to come. It marks the beginning of a shift to wards a net zero emissions word.
