2 Treatment for Juvenile Sex Offenders and Adult Sex Offenders Treatment for Juvenile Sex Offenders and Adult Sex Offenders These issues relating to sex offenses involving Juveniles and adults are increasing, and hence this has called for a good course of action to be taken. Juvenile or adolescents are treated differently from the adults in all the cases, and therefore the sex cases involving the Juveniles are conducting differently from the cases involving the adults ( Grady et al., 2017) . The juveniles' or adolescents' issues are tackled in juveniles' courts while the adults' cases are handled in criminal courts. The cases for the sex offenses are less severe than treatment for the adults is more severe. The mechanisms leading or contributing to the sex offenses by both adults and adolescents usually differ, and therefore their treatment mechanism is also different. Juvenile offenders are more likely to respond to the treatment they receive, and they are more likely to evade reoffending after completion of their treatment ( Brown, 2013) . The Juveniles' treatment is usually aimed at rehabilitating their actions since the children or adolescents since the Juvenile cases are pretty situational and opportunistic. Thus, there is a likelihood of children stopping their behaviors after growing and noticing the repercussions and consequences of sexual offenses. Juveniles are mostly subjected to Non-Prison based treatment programs for sexual offenses other than prison-based treatment ( Brown, 2013) . The treatment for the youth is usually aimed at identifying the motives that subjected the children to the sexual offense and helped avoid it in the future. The adults are mostly subjected to jail sentences after being involved in sex offenses since they are usually aware of the action's illegality and consequences. Non-prison- based approaches are the most effective for the treatment since they help combat sex offenses and prevent them from happening in the future.
