Biblical Worldview
Having a Biblical worldview can help fulfill the great commission, impact our goals we set in life, and how we interact with the world around us.
The simple definition of having a Biblical worldview is how you see the world through the Bible.
The foundation authority of biblical worldview is God’s Word that he has lovingly given us to use as guide to live in accordance with him. A student at Liberty can develop a strong Biblical worldview by attending Convocation, attending Campus Community, and registering religious courses. Now growing a Biblical worldview doesn’t stop at what you do on campus. Students can get connected in a local church, join or start their own bible study, and join a community group to fellowship with other believers.
Our purpose as followers of Christ is show the image of God through our actions. We are called to live our lives as Jesus did here on Earth. A few goals I would like to accomplish in my time here at Liberty is to obviously graduate, but at the same time earn a coaching degree so I can pursue a passion of mine and being involved with fellow students on campus to grow in community. Once I graduate and have a job, I want to start a family, be able to have financial stability and not worry about not being able to survive. Having a Biblical Worldview can Guide me in creating goals that go hand in hand with what God also has planned for me. These goals that I have for my life can be accomplished by growing in my faith and trust that God will guide me to what he has planned for my life.
As explained in the video, culture is a way of life. There are four main ways we can work together with people from other cultures. These ways include Common ground, working for the common
good, have common grace, and pursuing common goals. As believers, we can fulfill the great commission
by believing there is one Father, following one faith, and gathering and fellowship with others as one family. As believers, we can engage with others Recognizing there is diversity in this world and at the same time maintain a sense of unity and peace with the one around you. We are called to love one another
as yourself.
Having a Biblical worldview can help guide or lives and how we view the world. Ultimately Fulfilling the great commission, trusting God will guide you in the goals you’ve set in place, and treating others with kindness and love are crucial ways to show that you have a strong Biblical worldview.
