Consider the following principles or aspects of quality scripture study listed to the right.
Edit the “Rank Order” column on the left (numerically, with the numbers 1-11) based on what you
feel is most important to the least important. Which are most likely to help you to have a quality scripture study experience?
If you feel it’s easier to re-order the list on the right, feel free to do so, listing the most important ones at the top.
Write a 100–200 word summary of what you learned from the four videos listed about the scriptures.
I learned that we can’t be lazy with prayer. We aren’t going to get anywhere with our testimonies if we aren’t consistent with our scripture reading and studying. The story of the man on the cruise ship shows that a lot of people in our day take for granted what they have. Especially in the church, so if we want to have a strong testimony of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ we have to be actively striving to get close to Him. God wants to see us succeed, but He can’t help us if we are not willing to accept his help.
