Session 1 Reference Search and Explanation
Briefly explain, in your own words, why references are important for an academic paper.
Ensuring our paper has a reference listed is essential, especially when writing an
academic paper. However, some of the main reasons we should always have in mind are.
1. It protects the authenticity of our work.
2. It helps to build a credible network of information for the reader.
3. It gives the author credibility for their hard work.
4. It helps the Author avoid plagiarism infection.
Of course, there are many more reasons, but these are just some of the most important ones.
