Silence distractions #11 Have a set time #1 Start with prayer Consider the following principles or aspects of quality scripture study listed to the right. Edit the “Rank Order” column on the left (numerically, with the numbers 1-11) based on what you feel is most important to the least important. Which are most likely to help you to have a quality scripture study experience? If you feel it’s easier to re-order the list on the right, feel free to do so, listing the most important ones at the top. Write a 100–200 word summary of what you learned from the four videos listed about the scriptures. We benefit from studying the scriptures in every area of our life. Elder Bednar once observed that if we prioritize the most important things, "we cannot go amiss." We gain a new perspective on life via daily scripture study. It gives our life direction, hope, and brightness. The texts provide lessons, warnings, and cautions to us. It demonstrates the way to Jesus Christ, our Savior. We should always read and research them as a result. We can uncover additional information by searching for patterns, relationships, and connections. I aspire to learn everything since I enjoy discovering new things. We have to look for the "living waters." I enjoy finding new methods to connect and learning how to do so.
