2.8 How Can I Reflect on What Influences My Learning, and How Others Learn? 1 a, b, c) The VARK and the Myer Briggs personality test reflected the following results, VARK was given as Visual 9, Aural 12, Read/Write 9 and Kinesthetic 9. And Myer Briggs provided Extravert 44% over introversion, 44% Intuitive over sensing, 34% thinking over feeling and 7% judging over preceiving. These results reflect the years of change and maturity I have developed in my personality. The experiences have shaped me very all rounded and allows me to be adaptive, a fast learner and easy to come up with creative ideas and solution that allow me to be sucessful in different aspect of life such as school, work and extra cirriculars. After having understood this information, this enables me to be a quick and fast learner as I am able to adapt to different modes of learning may it be online or in person, with this information I can always look into more opportunities to improve and increase different learning outcomes. My personality style reflects how well I work in teams and what kind of energy I bring to the group/ team may it be school or work. It also shows my compatibility in leadership roles and well I can mange adjusting to different personality types around me by being emotionally intelligent with thought out actions. In return this enables better teamwork, creativity and increased productivity. 2) Self-directed learning is defined by Fanshawe College as, “ being autonomous, organized, and self-disciplined. They are able to communicate effectively, accept constructive feedback and engage in self-evaluation and self-reflection to learn.” (1) Cavanagh (2023) I believe I will be able to manage my own learning successfully with revising notes at the end of the day to better storage of information to the brain, and doing practice questions to ensure the level of understanding for each subject by effective time management. In case of any inquiries or if I am struggling Fanshawe college provides resources to help me over come academic and financial hurdles which contributes to the success of the whole college experience such as Reaching out to professors, student tutor programs, Academic advisor, career services etc. 3) Learning challenges when it comes to certain subjects, as a mature student with unmedicated ADHD, I have been out of school for sometime and certain parts can be a little challenging due to the change of how they are done now. Self-directed learning, adaptability and peer tutoring will be a viable solution for this and the other challenge I can see is maintaining a work-school-life balance as all aspects are equally important for a successful and healthy mind.

2.9 Developing Your Self-Reflective Practice As a manager who understands different way people behave due to different traits I would choose option 3 as it provides Hussein to properly explain he has been having issues keeping up and what can be done to prevent missing deadlines. It will also provide Hussein to self-identify these opportunities and make a plan to over come these hurdles in his development, also become better at managing his time and remain organized.
