Chapter 11 Writing Assignment Amy Edwards Department of Psychology, Eastern Gateway Community College PSY101: Intro to Psychology Dr. Kristen Jeffries December 3, 2023
2 Chapter 11 Writing Assignment I have taken these types of tests before but it was along time ago and I was unsure of exactly what it meant. It makes sense that my personality type is ENFJ, Extravert (38%) iNtuitive (7%) Feeling (23%) Judging (25%) (Humanmetrics, 1998-2022). I think its accurate now that I am older and can be more self-aware of myself. I have a lot of friends or acquaintances and can make a friend everywhere that I go. My fiancé is always the one that stands behind me when meeting new people because he knows that I am going to be a good representative of both of us to others. Also, you better believe I and going to talk judgmentally with my fiancé after an event. That may be apart of our love language. For career choices, ENFJs often find themselves in occupations that require good interpersonal skills to establish productive collaboration as well as to establish or maintain effective work processes. ENFJs are one of the most “universal” personality types and they build successful careers in a broad range of organizations and occupations. (Humanmetrics, 1998- 2022). This makes sense seeing as how I have always been, not only the top of every job I’ve had, but every one of them has been working closely with people. I have been a photographer, customer service agent, after school teacher, and even customer analyst for an electric company. However, I’m not surprised as I’m sure I got most of my traits from my dad. This is Heritability refers to the proportion of difference among people that is attributed to genetics. Some of the traits that the study reported as having more than a 0.50 heritability ratio include leadership, obedience to authority, a sense of well-being, alienation, resistance to stress, and fearfulness (Spielman, 2020).
