Part 1 Purpose Methods Results Quantitative The purpose of the study is to study PTSD to further understand growth and coping strategies. (Qusim et al., 2022) This study used questionnaires to collect data. This study showed that using healthy coping strategies commonly help patients overcome PTSD. Qualitative The purpose of this study is to help healthcare workers better understand patients with PTSD. (Sharif et al., 2021) This study used interviewing to collect data. This study showed that addressing PTSD head on will greatly benefit client recovery and serve as a protective factor against relapse. Part 2 Alignment in research is crucial for ensuring coherence and consistency among the different elements of a study. It involves establishing a logical and interconnected relationship among the problem, purpose, and research questions/hypotheses. When these components align effectively, it strengthens the overall research design and enhances the validity and reliability of the study (Miles, 2019). The problem statement identifies the research gap or issue that needs to be addressed. It highlights the significance and relevance of the study, providing a rationale for conducting the research. The purpose statement defines the specific objectives and goals of the study, outlining the overall intent and direction (Lundmark et al., 2021). It explains why the research is being undertaken and how it will contribute to knowledge or practice. The research questions or hypotheses are derived from the problem and purpose statements. They serve as guiding inquiries that direct the research efforts. Research questions

aim to explore or describe phenomena, while hypotheses propose specific relationships or predictions to be tested. Both research questions and hypotheses should directly relate to the problem and purpose of the study, aligning with the identified gap or issue (Lundmark et al., 2021). Achieving alignment among these elements ensures that the research is focused and purposeful. The problem statement sets the foundation and context for the study, while the purpose statement guides the overall research design, including the selection of appropriate methods and design (Miles, 2019). The research questions or hypotheses directly stem from the problem and purpose, reflecting the specific aspects or relationships that the study aims to investigate. By establishing alignment, researchers can create a coherent and logical research design that effectively addresses the research gap or issue. It helps maintain consistency throughout the study, from problem identification to data collection and analysis (Miles, 2019). Alignment enhances the clarity, rigor, and validity of the research, making a meaningful contribution to the field of study. Part 3 Qualitative “ The purpose of this qualitative, thematic-analysis study is to fill the gap in the empirical literature surrounding the perspectives of mental health care providers working with people with PTSD from trauma-related issues.” Research question: Does PTSD shape identity? Do the Perspectives of Patients and Healthcare Providers Differ?
