What type of research method was used in this study? Correlation? Experiment? Participants’ attachment styles are measured using the “Experience in Close Relationships—Revised” (ECR- R), a 36-item self-report questionnaire that has proved to provide highly stable indicators of latent attachment.   All data collection was approved by UTREC and the School of Psychology and Neuroscience ethics committee (PS1087), University of St Andrews.   Were the measures used in your study reliable and valid? Future research in face perception can benefit from noting the significant differences in perception accuracy based on different theories of intelligence or competence. This has influenced others to perceive femininity as more attractive than masculinity.
