Jeremy Case Study 4 1. In the video with the little eating the lollipop her we are seeing a display of egocentrism. Egocentrism is only being able to see thing from your point of view. So, although the little girl knows she is a little girl and knows she has a mommy. She cannot understand that she is also her mommy’s little girl. 2. In the finding Nemo video, we’re seeing Nemo within the school age industry vs. inferiority stage of Piaget’s psychosocial development. This stage is where children begin to focus on the world outside of them. We see that with Nemo’s excitement to go to school, see his teachers and meet his friends. 3. According to the CDC the top five causes of mortality in children of Jeremy’s age are 1. Birth Defects 2. Preterm Births 3. SIDS 4. Injuries 5. Maternal Pregnancy Complications 4. Vaccinations:  At Birth- HepB  2 Months -HepB, DTaP, PCV, Hib, IPV, RV  4 Months- HepB, DTaP, PCV, Hib, IPV, RV  6 Months- HepB, DTaP, PCV, Hib1, IPV, RV1, Influenza  12 to 15 Months-MMR, DTaP, PCV, Hib, Chickenpox, HepA, Influenza  4 to 6 Year- MMR, DTaP, IPV, Chickenpox, HepA, Influenza 5. Which are the live vaccinations and when should immunizations not be given to children? For what purpose?  A live vaccination contains a weakened for of the virus. The live vaccinations are MMR, and Varicella vaccines. The contraindications for a live virus are severe immunocompromise and allergies. 6. What are absolute contraindications or receiving immunizations?  The absolute contraindications for receiving immunizations are, being severely immunocompromised, having febrile illness or having allergies. 7.
