1 Letter to My Parents Madison Jarrett Department of Psychology and Counseling, Southeast Missouri State University PY-120 The Child: Conception to Adolescence Ms. Jessica Bishop Due Date
2 Letter to My Parents Introduction Paragraph, just introduce my topic and briefly explain what I will be discussing Including my topics of resilience and self-efficacy in teenagers, the effects of puberty on girls, and the effects of students learning ability and learning environment and it’s affects. 2 nd Paragraph: I will go deeper into the topic of self-efficacy and resilience in teen hood. This is where I will use my sources by Sedillo-Hamann and Bali. I will relate it back to myself during my mental health issues and puberty in teen hood, which was difficult for me. 3 rd Paragraph: Make a transition from the resilience and self-efficacy of going through my mental health and puberty, to the actual effect of puberty on young girls. This is where I will use my sources by Compian and Kelley. I can relate this back to myself and my issues I experienced during puberty and how out of place I also felt. 4 th Paragraph: I will transition my focus on the effects o puberty to the self-esteem of teens. The main focus is on the self-esteem in school/learning environment. This incorporates the works from Lan and Delphine, where they touch on how children learn and how to boost their self-esteem. I can relate this back to my experiences in school and at home. 5 th Paragraph: Wrap up my topics and conclude my paper.
