Part 2: Film Marbury v. Madison Each answer should be one or two paragraphs that address every aspect of the question. 1. Suppose the federal courts did not have the power of judicial review. Instead, all acts of Congress and the president would be considered constitutional. How would this change our system of government? Would you favor such a change? 2. The thought of no judicial review and any action being taken by congress and the president would automatically and undoubtedly be considered constitutional no matter the repercussions of those actions are terrifying 3. In the film, was the Court right in making the choice it did? Why or why not? 4. Yes, why because it held a significant role in the principle of judicial review, which allowed supreme court to declare an act of congress unconstitutional. 5. For years the Supreme Court was known as the least dangerous branch. However, some today might call it the most dangerous. Suggest two or three reforms that would limit the Court’s power in the political system and explain how each would function. 6. Limit the court power on state action. Like the power to overstate action like the laws passed by the bureaus, usually the police the power to review everything control our life both the executive and legislatures. 7. Presidential action or the supremacy clause. The fact that our supreme court never straight down congressionally power to the executive, and the court control the presidential action on national security and can force the president hand. Also, where can we find judicial review in the constitution, but rather comes from the court itself. And how can is this law still around still day.
