Joel Hernandez PHY-150 12/15/23 Short Reflection Paper (Perception of Physics) Are you more aware of the impact that physics has on your daily life? After taking this course I believe that my awareness towards physics in my daily life has increased. From cooking and walking, it was not until this class that I realized how much physics you can see every day around you. Have you changed the way you view or do something in either your personal or professional life based on a new understanding of a concept? When I'm doing the wiring in the access control panel, I peel the coat of the wire to expose the threat. I find it fascinating that all the actions I perform to do this task can be observed and noticed by equation. What was the most significant concept that you learned? The most significant concept to me was described in Newton’s law. That stated to use strains and place them in different scenarios and orientations, then you would be able to list heavyweights. Were there any shifts in your understanding of a particular concept? If so, what was that concept and how did it change? Newton’s law was the important thing that made change my concept of it. I knew what the laws were but never had the opportunity to apply them in real life or use them in a scenario where the laws come to life. It was an awesome experience.
