My last boss was a Theory x boss, he always looked at the negative of the staff and what we aren't doing,
vs all the great things and time we put into the students. In staff meeting he would always say things like
"If you are only here for the pay check you need to find another job", and micromanaged everything. Yet,
teachers were putting in so much time after contract hours and that was being overlooked. He would say
that we were "lazy" because he didn't think we were doing enough. It discouraged a lot of teachers
because we know how much time we put in even after contract hours or before contract hours, for us to
be hounded at every single meeting. It gets draining,
