Philosophy of Education Draft
Education enables people to get the academic skills they'll need to analyze circumstances
in life, develop critical thinking, and make the best judgments. People with more education are better able to comprehend the nature of society, human needs, and the behaviors of individuals. My philosophy of education is Progressivism. I learn better by physically doing an activity. Knowing that everyone thinks differently is essential in the classroom. Students get motivated and excited about learning as a result of this.
Teachers must provide knowledge to students and support their ongoing education. They develop exciting activities, learning modules, resources and guide student conversations. Teachers must be skilled communicators and exhibit empathy, patience, flexibility, and dedication, among other qualities. Positive and compassionate attitudes are required of teachers. If not, it might make kids less motivated to learn. The attitude of the teacher, as well as the students' personal views, impact the students' conduct and their motivation to study.
It's crucial to start by explaining expectations and guidelines to students. This is essential since it will help students understand what they can and cannot do in your class and what is expected of them. You should also become familiar with the climate in your classroom. You can discover what will and won't work in the classroom. Additionally, you want to find out how your
students learn best. As a result, the learning atmosphere will be enjoyable and productive.

Quizzes, assignments, and homework should be used to evaluate learning. Teachers may now see what the student knows, thanks to this. Students effort should be measured instead of correctness while evaluating the work. Students are less likely to do the assignment independently and are more likely to consult outside sources when grades are based on whether the answer is correct or incorrect. Students will make an effort if they know their grades will be based on their effort. I believe this will encourage students to reflect and want to learn more.
The variety of human differences, such as those related to race, ethnicity, gender, and more, is known as diversity. Students from various backgrounds can offer fresh ideas and insights in the classroom. This might enhance discussions and educational possibilities in the classroom. Students can benefit from one another's knowledge and deepen their understanding of
the subject. Additionally, diversity can enhance cognitive abilities and critical thinking. Beyond the ones they've already developed, students can take into account other perspectives and opinions. Greater awareness, comprehension, and acceptance of various concepts and cultural practices may result from this. My professional goals as a future educator include creating a welcoming classroom environment,
forging close bonds with kids and their families, enhancing student achievement through assessments, and serving as a teacher leader. My goal is to express to my kids that they are valued and that they belong. Today's students have a lot going on in their lives, so it's crucial that
they understand how much they are appreciated and valued. Relationships with the students and their families should be cultivated since they build trust while offering parents more confidence in your ability to educate their children. Making sure that kids are making academic progress is a
teacher's first priority. This means that their scores at the end of the year are greater than they were at the start. Lastly being
