Personal Philosophy of Education
The purpose of education is to provide an opportunity for students to gain knowledge and skills that will prepare them for the world. Letters and numbers are not the only things that school focuses on,
but honesty, critical thinking, and humanitarianism are also taught to students at school. These lessons are taught so that the students can function in life.
The role of education helps prepare students for life situations. Learning approaches and job preparation are important educational roles. A good education prepares students for issues that may occur during their professional life. Teachers prepare students for the best education by providing them with an understanding of how to use the tools and resources available for them to learn.
My vision of how to collaborate in promoting the growth and of young children is to continue to use small groups. The small groups will have a different activity in each group. The small groups will be rotated daily. Open ended questions will be asked to get reflections from students about their group. This will help students build social skills and solve problems. It also helps children to learn to take turns.
The role of a teacher is to help children learn and grow in a safe and nurturing environment. The
teacher is to provide appropriate age-appropriate activities to help students develop and grow. The teacher should respect the children and families no matter what gender, race or ethical background. By following the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct, this will ensure the teacher that the community and families will become stronger, and the best education will be provided to the students.
Self-Reflecting allows the educator to acknowledge his/her strengths and weakness. It also is used to guide continuing learning. Educators will develop motivation, skills to improve the care you provide to students, and self-directed learning skills. Self-reflection will boost educators' self-confidence.
In education self–reflection allows students to succeed academically. As educators, reflections keep you connected to the students and help the students improve by focusing and learning.
