As a prospective teacher, social justice in education refers to treating all pupils equally in terms of resources and treatment, irrespective of their color, religion, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, or any other distinction. Equality, fairness, and empathy are the objectives of social justice education. Ideally, after using this paradigm in their education, students will be better able to discern right from wrong and make decisions about their lives and careers that benefit their communities. Open-mindedness is one quality that could help me better combine faith and learning in my future classroom. When students are ready to learn about different faiths and have an open mind, it can help to better integrate faith and learning. Administration that is supportive: If the school administration is in favor of integrating faith and education, it can create an atmosphere that is favorable to this integration. However, there are several deterrents that can prevent you from incorporating faith and learning into your future classroom. For example, if staff members or students show
a lack of respect for different religious beliefs, it may be difficult to incorporate faith into learning. Strict curricula: These curricula can inhibit the blending of faith and learning if they
forbid the inclusion of themes based on faith.
