St. Jude Medical Centre
St. Jude Medical Centre, established in 1957 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange, is a member of the St. Joseph Health network, which consists of 14 hospitals (Darr, Farnsworth, & Myrtle, 2017). The primary objective of the St. Jude Medical Centre is to provide medical care and healing in accordance with the teachings of Jesus, following the example set by the Sisters of St. Joseph. Additionally, the centre aims to enhance the well-being and overall quality of life in the communities it serves. The objective of the organisation is underscored by its vision, which unites individuals in the
pursuit of delivering empathetic healthcare, advancing well-being, and fostering thriving communities. The values of dignity, service, justice, and excellence are attained through specialised centres of excellence in the fields of cardiology, stroke, oncology, orthopaedics, rehabilitation, and perinatal care. St. Jude is a community hospital with a capacity of 320 beds. It receives more than 13,000 patients for inpatient care and over 450,000 patients for outpatient visits. The annual budget of
the organisation amounts to almost $466,000,000,( Darr, Farnsworth & Myrtle ,2017). The advantages of St. Jude Community benefit are as follows: • They are engaged in a philanthropic endeavour. • They engage in partnerships with society to promote health advantages. • In addition to addressing basic health issues, they also focus on tackling obesity, substance misuse, and other related concerns. • They provide services for individuals who do not have insurance or have inadequate insurance coverage. • They have a strong rapport with physicians and own a substantial infrastructure. •Promote collaboration among staff, professionals, researchers, and patients. The weaknesses of St. Jude's Community are as follows:
• Excessive promotion • Overdependence on donations • Swift fluctuations in the well-being of the children under care. • Availability of appropriate medical resources.

•Reliance on collaborators for achieving high performance. •Reliance on physicians to fulfil charitable responsibilities. •Lack of enthusiasm from society to fully engage. If the local community were to collaborate, it would have a significant impact, since it would make their management much easier. When the government becomes more efficient, the well-being of the citizens improves and all other aspects fall into place in a favourable manner. Facilitating coordination
among administrators will enhance the ability of all networks to establish ambitious goals and achieve
faster outcomes, resulting in increased overall satisfaction. Currently, the collaborative's main areas of
focus include the reduction of childhood obesity (which is also a priority for the hospital), prevention of gang activity, addressing homelessness, narrowing achievement gaps in schools, and fostering unity among the many populations of Fullerton. The collaboration, now in its 10th year as a not-for-
profit organisation, has a regular attendance of approximately 40 organisations. It is led by a passionate chair who heads a faith-based social services group, and has recently appointed a new executive director who also serves as a part-time faculty member (Darr, Farnsworth, & Myrtle, 2017).
Although the director is no longer employed by the school district, they still participate actively on the
board and in the collaborative, as stated by Darr, Farnsworth, and Myrtle (2017). Here are my recommendations to Ross for enhancing collaboration to achieve significant regional and local outcomes: • Collaboration agreement to execute and maintain joint endeavours. • Establishing formal connections with community partners. • Contribute community feedback to highlight health concerns within the community.
Local government officials actively participating in strategic planning and advocacy for health-related matters at the city, county, or regional level.
The founding resources of St. Jude Medical Centre have been derived from the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange. The St. Jude's community benefits programme initially oversaw the management of outreach efforts, with a particular focus on the medical center's mobile health clinic programme (Darr,
Farnsworth, & Myrtle, 2017). St. Joseph Health had to modify its vision in order to enhance health

outcomes and foster the development of healthy communities (Darr, Farnsworth, & Myrtle, 2017). St.
Jude has enhanced its efforts to provide more comprehensive community engagement. Given the adjustments previously made by St. Jude, Ross might further pursue efforts to consolidate network relationships and provide free annual physical examinations at St. Jude's Medical Centre to all individuals residing in the six defined regions for the situation examination. Ultimately, providing complimentary seasonal flu vaccinations, in addition to vitamins and wellness tablets. Similarly, distributing pamphlets with health information tailored to different age groups, such as sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) for adolescents, pregnancy for young girls, and obstetrics/gynecology (OB/GYN) difficulties for both young and elderly women. Ensuring the public is well-informed and educated about medical issues is crucial and will greatly improve overall well-being and health. Rose should diligently address the comments given by the community. It is crucial not to overlook the key issues. Additionally, there should be improved monitoring and active involvement of collaborators, enhanced community engagement, and effective communication (Darr, Farnsworth, & Myrtle, 2017). Enhanced social support is achieved via the collaboration of several organisations and individuals with a shared objective. This facilitates communication and knowledge sharing, enabling both the organisations and the community to access resources and services that they may not otherwise have access to. Community organisation provides abundant opportunities for personal and social development for individuals who join together. (Berkowitz, 1997).
