Describe one of the beliefs and values of the Navajo as illustrated in your readings.
When looking at the healthcare situation on the reservation, the first thing to be noted was how many believe that their spiritual beliefs will help their health. This is protected under the Indian Religious Freedom Act of 1978.

Describe one way in which the Navajo have incorporated their beliefs and values into the societal structure on the reservation since regaining some autonomy in the 1970's.
The Navajo has used the medical field to incorporate their beliefs and values into society on the reservation. While healers practice modern medicine, they will also use traditional healing
procedures. Module Two Question 3
What beliefs and values can be found in your culture? How do these beliefs and values influence your day-to-day life?
Some of the values and beliefs that are apart of my culture are maintaining your passion for what you do. They influence my everyday life because without keeping the passion, I wouldn't be able to get things done. Module Two Question 4
