Introduction Good Fly Academy offers users the opportunity to obtain the P1 rank. Obtaining this rank will be done through theoretical and practical classes and theoretical and practical exams. From GFA the classes will be done via Discord sharing screen. Pre-Flight Preparation In this seminar the student will be taught about all the existing flight rules, the VMC rules (when you can go out and when not), how to read a METAR and the operation of the TAF, altimetry (QNH, AMSL and AGL), how to fill in a flight plan for the network and how to plan the flight, the reading of the VAC charts, the types of airspaces, finally, how to communicate with the ATC (by VATSIM software) and about the dependencies that may exist at an airport. This session will last approximately 1 hour. Pre-Flight Procedures In this seminar the student will be taught about engine start procedures, the airport environment (signs and ground markings), ADC/PDC chart reading and basic phraseology for contacting ATC on the ground. In this session there will be a practical part where the instructor (with real documentation) will guide and demonstrate to the student how to start an aircraft of the student's choice that complies with the characteristics indicated in the Plan of Action . The approximate duration of this session will be 1 hour and 30 minutes. Take-offs, landings and Go-arounds In this seminar the student will be taught about the effects of take-off and landing, how and when a pilot can take-off, how to make the initial climb in a VFR flight, the procedures to be followed in case of a rejected take-off, how to perform a normal approach and a good landing, how to proceed and when to proceed in a frustrated approach and the procedures to join the traffic circuits. The student will be taught how to join the traffic circuits. The duration of this session will be 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Navigation In this seminar the student will be taught about the movements that can be performed in an ATZ or a CTR, the procedures to be performed in a departure from an airfield, the procedures of arrival to an airfield and the basic notions about VOR and DME. There may be a practical part of the class to show the student the arrival and departure procedures. The estimated duration of this seminar is 1 hour. Training Manoeuvres & Aerodynamics In this seminar the student will be taught about the main forces and how stalls can appear and as a pilot how we can solve them or try to solve them. The practical part of this seminar is the Steep Turns along with the common mistakes that can arise when performing this procedure. The estimated duration of this seminar is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Emergency Procedures In this seminar the student will be taught about the procedures when having a communications failure emergency, the phraseology when having emergencies, the operation of the TCAS Alerts and how it is simulated in VATSIM and the procedures for engine failure in cruise. The estimated duration of this seminar is 1 hour. Aircraft Procedures In this seminar the student will be taught about the practical procedures of the aircraft that will be used for the examination and practical classes. Also in these seminars the aircraft systems will be taught. All this will be taught by the instructors with the actual aircraft documentation and checklists. The estimated duration of the seminar is 2 hours
