Assessment-2 (Written Assessment) Promotional campaign Assessment description All businesses need to promote their product or services. Promotions can take many forms, depending on the industry, the target market, and the product or service that you have chosen. Your task is to implement the marketing plan that you developed in Assessment Task 1. This will involve developing promotional material and conducting promotional activities for the product or service that you have chosen. Promotional materials can include: brochures displays internet (email, websites, blogs, Facebook, Twitter) SMS a combination of the above. Promotional activities can include: SMS campaigns email campaigns web-based promotions functions, events and face-to-face promotions. Procedure/Instructions 1. Review the marketing plan developed in Assessment Task 1, and finalise before implementing the campaign. 2. Develop your promotional materials. 3. Conduct the campaign. 1
Promotional materials Before conducting the campaign, Doikham needs to create Facebook and Instagram account in order to reach out to the customers as well as expand the customers. The website needs to be renovated to be more user friendly and attractive display this way the customer would have good experience shopping online. The poster for giveaway campaign and 10% off coupon code that need to post and share on social media. Conduct the campaign. As Doikham already created Facebook page, Instagram account and Doikham own website which also integrate with Facebook and Instagram account, the marketing team need to spread out the name of Doikham. There are online advertisement from Facebook and Google AdWords that marketing team need to spend on to create and expand the visitors to come to Doikham page, account and website. IT Team need to create a coupon code for the customers to use it when purchasing online to get 10% off, also create a pop-up at the homepage of the website so the customers visit the website will notice and attract them. 2
The marketing team needs to ship some of the products to influent bloggers who can give a review on the products as well as invite more customers to Doikham The marketing team needs to promote Doikham concept on society that customers can be a part of helping others by purchasing with Doikham and will have 3% given to educational organisations. This can be done by promoting on social media and website. The marketing team needs to create a giveaway campaign to get attention from the customers and to increase the number of engaging people on Doikham social media by let them like Facebook page, follow Instagram account, share the post, leave comment and get a chance to win.
