2 Management and the Role of Human Services. In any organization, the human resources department plays a fundamental role in the management of people and resources (van Geffen, 2020.) Human resource management teams are assigned to offer advice and guidance; especially to management teams on how to effectively manage individuals as organizational assets and resources (van Geffen, 2020). It is common for management team and human services to offer and guide management teams to assure that they are included identifying and employing people with an appropriate skill set to meet the organization's current long-term objectives. Human resources also setup benefits for employees and suggest programs for their personal growth. Human Resources professionals can serve as consultants rather than workers because from a specific business function most organizations like to offer management advice that will help range personnel-related matters to help the company achieve its objectives. Human resources management and its departments help managers succeed in their roles in several ways. Most human resource managers are urged to lobby senior management and their departments to fund management or a manager development (van Geffen, 2020). For better support for the managers, "empowerment" should come from human resource specialists. Human resources should encourage and provide training to help their employees build their people and soft skills. This will automatically free up management to undertake the more difficult aspects of their work. Managers, for example, may want instructions to facilitate delicate talks such as direct reports for employees who frequently arrive late (van Geffen, 2020). Human resources should work with senior management to create a culture of openness and constructive criticism, which supports manager engagement. It can deliver it properly simply by promoting constructive
3 criticism. When construction criticism is acknowledged and innovative, the attitude and dynamic of the company might alter; this is where agility can develop.  The Situation-The Personnel Based on the Scenario. There is a disagreement between employees in the organization, and as the Director of Clinical Services for People First San Diego, I do not want this issue to become an issue. During the team meeting, I noticed that some employees belittled their coworkers. Other employees are verbally abusive to one another. However, individuals who have experienced workplace discrimination and harassment, particularly during team meetings, have not addressed any concerns about the issue (Northouse, 2020). Similarly, situations that are disastrous to junior employees have a negative impact on the organization. Furthermore, junior employees are the victims of workplace injustices perpetrated by senior employees and experience the most negative results (Northouse, 2020). Workplace harassment is an unfavorable act directed at other employees based on characteristics such as age, which contributes to a hostile work environment (Segal, 2021). Several solutions for dealing with personal situations in the organization can be used through involvement with human resources. Management should thoroughly investigate the matter, and question those directly involved and prospective witnesses is an important initial step in workplace dispute resolution (Indeed, 2023). I may need to meet with each side separately before scheduling a mediation session, depending on the circumstances. By consulting with human resources, I will attempt to handle the situation to resolve the inter-employee dispute. I'll arrange for a meeting to discuss the matter, preferably in a neutral location. I will set norms and request that senior staff treat junior colleagues with dignity.
