Leadership Self-Assessment 2 Charismatic, Transformational or Both This self-assessment activity had some questions that I hesitated before answering because they made me rediscover more about my leadership style and challenged my assumptions. This suggests that I am comfortable challenging my own and others' assumptions, which is a characteristic of a transformational leader. Additionally, I strive to inspire and motivate my team toward a common vision, and I believe in the importance of personal growth and development for both myself and my team. I was not expecting to get either a high or low score in either charisma or transformational leadership, but after reflecting on the qualities and behaviors associated with both, I believe that I possess elements of both charismatic. I got 28 for Charismatic, 28 for Transformational, and 36 both. What surprised me was the score for both which suggests that I possess qualities of both charismatic and transformational leadership, which align with my way of thinking and acting serving as a confirmation that using both styles of leadership might be effective for me. The self-assessment accurately reflects that I possess qualities and behaviors associated with both charismatic and transformational leadership because both styles value the ability to inspire and motivate others toward a shared vision, adapt to different situations, and display strong interpersonal skills while giving the members of the team a sense of purpose and self-worth.
Leadership Self-Assessment 3 Based on the result of the self-assessment, it seems that I possess qualities and behaviors associated with both charismatic and transformational leadership. I believe that no changes are necessary, but what I think to be decisive is to realize when to lean more towards one style or the other depending on the specific context and needs of my team.
