Applicants for ATAS accreditation are required to undergo a comprehensive background check conducted by an external agency. This assists AFTA to verify that certain information provided by the applicant is correct.
The check must be paid for by the applicant and the cost is approximately $167 per person. The
information provided in the check consists of: Bankruptcy, Business Interests, Credit Default, Financial Regulatory, National Police Check. As we have 3 applicants it will cost - 167 x 3 = $ 501
