My goal is to become a college professor/instructor in a field that deals with culture and communications. My motivation is sourced through my desire to help students as I learn along the way, while being a positive influence on others and their academics careers. I would like to work in Georgia and virtual as well. Measurable Numeric (e.g., 9, ½) or descriptive (e.g., full, complete, have certificate in my hands) How much? How many? How will I know when the goal has been achieved? Within the next two years I would like to have my undergraduate degree in communications. Apply for a Georgia program to get my foot into the door towards my state certification. After becoming a certified educator, I would like to earn a special education certification. Within five years later, I would like to go for my master’s and Doctorates degree . Attainable Are you willing to do this? Are you able to do this? I am currently in my third and a half year of my communication degree. Though I am unsure of which lens or subject I will end up teaching, I am passionate about learning and teaching. In Georgia, one can take their state exams after earning a four-year bachelor’s degree. Relevant * How does this relate to your life? How does it align with your broader goals or your company’s broader goals? This goal relates to my life in the way that I can pursue my educational career while working a fulltime career, by way of earning an undergraduate in the field of

As I navigate my way through school at Southern New Hampshire, I grow more passionate about teaching and the ability to teach virtually while supporting others across the world along their educational journey. Timely Is this a short-term goal (e.g., one day, two weeks, three months)? Is this a long-term goal (e.g., one year, five years, ten years)? Add a calendar date! This is a long-term goal as it will take many steps along the process to become a college instructor. It will also take continued education, certifications, and years to complete in totality.
