1 Let me start by saying why I chose to examine the mission statement of the well-known hotel company "Global Getaways." Global Getaways is the place to go if you want to find a travel and catering company that works with people from all over the world. The company's goal is to provide excellent customer service and make each guest's stay something they will never forget. "Global Getaways is committed to providing life-changing travel experiences by providing world-class hospitality services, fostering genuine relationships, and going above and beyond for our guests," says the company's goal statement. Our goal is to leave a good mark on the places where we do business by giving our guests events that will change their lives. Why it's important to write a strong mission statement: The goal statement of a business should explain how the company works and what it stands for. A strong goal statement will be short and easy to remember, as well as inspiring. It has to meet the needs of stakeholders, show what the company's core ideals are, and make it stand out from the competition. In addition to helping people make decisions and come up with strategies, a good goal statement should be concrete, measurable, and open to change. Analysis of the Mission Statement Given The goal statement that Global Getaways has given has many of the parts that good mission statements have. It shows how committed the company is to giving customers life-changing trips, good housing, and real relationships. Along with meeting and exceeding customer standards, the mission statement stresses making a good name for Global Getaways in the places where it does business. The plan for a good goal statement calls for these parts to be included.
2 But the statement of goal might need a few changes. One thing that could be better is a more concise explanation of what makes Global Getaways different from its competitors. The statement says that the company offers "exceptional hospitality services," but it doesn't say what makes them different from other companies. Second, the goal statement could be made more clear and measurable. Helpful would be specific goals or measures for customer happiness, effect on the community, or growth plans. This would help keep an eye on how the company is doing and make sure it is meeting its goals. Also, the word could be made shorter without losing any of its power. The organization's current goal statement does a good job of showing that it wants to give people life- changing events and great service. But it should be made easier to understand and remember, both inside the company and with people outside the company. Final Thoughts and Directions for the Future: Lastly, Global Getaways' mission statement meets or exceeds many of the factors for a good mission statement. It shows how committed the organization is to giving world-class service, building important connections, and making a big difference in people's lives. But it could be better described, explained, put into action, and summed up. Global Getaways could make its goal statement better by putting more stress on how much they care about its customers and other things that set them apart from the competition. Setting measurable goals for customer happiness, effect on the community, and growth may help a company stay true to its mission. Last but not least, making the

3 statement shorter and easier to remember will help get the company's purpose and views across. With a few changes, Global Getaways might be able to make its goal statement a better guide for its future travel and hotel business plans. References: Escrig, P.
